Active in the UK commercial property markets since 1989, Scott has provided advice on a wide range of investment and development projects including the site acquisition and onward sale of the created investment of a 100,000 sq ft B&Q in Coatbridge; the acquisition of a large retail investment with development potential on Buchanan Street, Glasgow for circa £33m; the sale of Wardpark Industrial Estate in Cumbernauld for circa £33m; and the forward funding of Cumbernauld Retail Park for c £19m, which we subsequently developed and sold for £24.5m.
In addition, he has transacted a number of portfolio deals including: the acquisition of Empire Portfolio (c £128m); the sale of Orchard Portfolio (c £80m); and the acquisition of Rainbow Portfolio (c £80m). Scott has also acted on behalf of international accountancy practices, institutional clients, property companies and private pension funds on a variety of projects.

Alasdair graduated in 1990 and has been actively involved in the commercial property market since then. Initially working for a variety of Glasgow-based chartered surveying practices in retail agency, Alasdair started working for a Scottish property company in 2010 before taking the step to set up his own property company in 2012. With this broad spectrum of experience, Alasdair brings a wealth of knowledge and ability to both the acquisition and disposal of commercial property investments throughout the UK.
His attention to detail provides clients with comfort that the advice they receive has been extensively and meticulously researched. Alasdair’s specialism is in the retail sector, however he has wide-ranging experience across all of the commercial property categories.
